Adams AOH hosts Irish Festival

Saturday, July 21, 2011  10:00am – 5:00pm We’re Back! With… Thanks to a successful Irish Music Concert in July 2011 & donations from friends and a few vendors, the 13th annual Adams County Irish Festival will be held this summer at Gettysburg Moose Park. Traditional Irish folk music will once again echo throughout the shady grounds of Gettysburg Moose Park as the Irish Heritage Foundation of Gettysburg (IHFG) will present the festival on Saturday July 21, 2012. Parish Ministry Fair

Associate Member recieves National honors

Division Associate Member Dylan Thomas recieves a Scholar Athlete award from the U.S. Army Reserve Dylan Thomas was going to honor our Military Service Members on Harrisburg’s City Island just as he does every year on Armed Forces Day, this year held on May 19.  Howeverthe tables were turned as Dylan, a senior at Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg was presented with a National Scholar Athlete award from the Harrisburg US Army Opportunity Center.   The Award is presented to outstanding student athletes to acknowledge their strengths and accomplishments.  Dylan, an avid team basketball player brought his grades up in this … Continue reading
