Digest Editor shall publish as directed the Hibernian Digest.  As such, he is tasked with using all opportunities and means to provide members with the latest information about the AOH, our events, our issues and our growth. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

His responsibility includes providing varied means for communicating the AOH membership’s position on critical issues related AOH. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ARTICLE X – EDITOR, NATIONAL HIBERNIAN DIGEST: Section 11<\/strong>. <\/b><\/span><\/span>Shall:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A. Edit and publish the official publication as prescribed in Article XXI;
\nB. Be Chairman of National Publicity;
\nC. Be under direct supervision and control of the National President;
\nD. Submit reports at all National Board Meetings;
\nE. Appoint Associate Editors; and
\nF. Report to the National Convention and National Board Meetings.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Communicate with State Chairmen \u2013 State President if Chair unknown<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Speak to your state chairmen Annually<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Communicate to your state chairmen monthly via e-mal.<\/span><\/span>\n

    1. Expand to your county and division chairmen as you move forward.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      National Communications<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Hibernian Digest Responsibility<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Submit a 300 to 600-word article to the Hibernians Digest prior to the established deadline for each and every Hibernian Digest published.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Web Page Responsibility<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Responsible for creating and approving all content on the AOH web-page as related to chairmanship. <\/span><\/p>\n

          Must provide a monthly update to the AOH webmaster. Weekly updates are encouraged. <\/span><\/p>\n

          Updates are a simple action picture and a paragraph. <\/span><\/p>\n

          1. Email Blast Responsibility<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Prepare articles for email blast as requested. Suggest articles for email blast as needed<\/span><\/p>\n

            Other<\/u><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

            Additional duties as assigned by the national president.<\/span><\/p>\n
