Veteran Affairs Chairman is the major information resource relative to Hibernian Veterans. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

His responsibility includes providing varied means for communicating information and advice to those members who have served in the military. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ARTICLE X – VETERANS AFFAIRS CHAIRMAN: Section 22<\/strong>. <\/b><\/span><\/span>Shall: Serve to provide information and advice for members of the Order who currently serve, or who have served, in the United States military. The chairman shall focus primarily in areas pertaining to Veteran’s benefits, advocacy, and the development and maintenance of a historical record of Hibernians that have served. The individual appointed to this position shall be an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces or an active duty member of the United States Armed Forces.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Communicate with State Chairmen \u2013 State President if Chair unknown<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Speak to your state chairmen Annually<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Communicate to your state chairmen monthly via e-mal.<\/span><\/span>\n

    1. Expand to your county and division chairmen as you move forward.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      National Communications<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Hibernian Digest Responsibility<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Submit a 300 to 600-word article to the Hibernians Digest prior to the established deadline for each and every Hibernian Digest published.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Web Page Responsibility<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Responsible for creating and approving all content on the AOH web-page as related to chairmanship. <\/span><\/p>\n

          Must provide a monthly update to the AOH webmaster. Weekly updates are encouraged. <\/span><\/p>\n

          Updates are a simple action picture and a paragraph. <\/span><\/p>\n

          1. Email Blast Responsibility<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Prepare articles for email blast as requested. Suggest articles for email blast as needed<\/span><\/p>\n

            Other<\/u><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

            Additional duties as assigned by the national president.<\/span><\/p>\n
